Final pages put to bed
Updated: Jun 28
Newspaper staff across the state filed their last reports and put their final pages to bed overnight as the last of the 44 print newspapers scheduled to cease printing this week went on the presses. Social media feeds have been full of journalists, subs, print room and delivery teams signing off on their last day at work - some leaving behind careers spanning decades. But at this time, it's all we have the heart for.
